The story of Tribe Built Roofing started at a men’s wellness retreat several years ago. Brian, a master-level yoga teacher, was leading one of the workshops and was impressed with Trevor’s confident presence. They stayed in touch after the retreat and continued to build a strong friendship based on a shared passion for building a business that serves the community and empowers team members to grow their skills so that they become the very best version of themselves.
Together, Brian and Trevor have built a team of talented roofing professionals who go over-the-top to meet the needs of their customers. With an attention to detail and commitment to providing extraordinary service, everyone at Tribe Built Roofing stands ready to give each customer more than they expect. In order to do this with confidence, the team stays up-to-date on the latest trends in the field and seeks out ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure that each roof is handled with the most incredible care possible. We also continue to place a strong emphasis on physical, mental, and emotional maturity, the values that brought Brian and Trevor together in the first place. This is the Tribe Built Way.

Trevor is a father, entrepreneur, and Vermont native who has called Charlotte home since 2008. With 16 years of experience in the roofing industry, Trevor brings a deep commitment to craftsmanship, customer care, and doing the job right the first time. Driven by the climb, the challenge, and the grind, Trevor thrives in the hustle it takes to build something from the ground up — especially when it’s done in brotherhood.
He’s passionate about connecting with homeowners and helping protect one of the most important parts of their home: the roof. Trevor believes the best work is done when grit, integrity, and trust come together. Outside of work, Trevor is a dedicated father who values family time, staying active, and living a wellness-focused lifestyle. Whether on a roof or a trail, he’s always moving with purpose.
Brian was born and raised on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio. He played football at Cornell University and graduated with a degree in Hotel Administration. Brian was a teacher and football coach before becoming a Clinical Psychotherapist.
He met Trevor at a men’s retreat several years ago and they quickly realized their shared passion for leading strong communities of working professionals. Brian’s entrepreneurial drive has led him to building several successful businesses from the ground up that are rooted in superior craftsmanship.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, spending time with his partner, Victoria, and traveling all over the world.
We are factory-trained by GAF, North America’s largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer. More homes in the U.S. are protected by a GAF roof than by any other product. As GAF Certified Plus Roofing Contractors, we install every roof according to their installation specifications. We also provide every completed roof installation with the GAF Silver Pledge Warranty that includes a 50-year product warranty and 10-year workmanship warranty backed by GAF.
We are also certified by FORTIFIED Home as a Roofing Contractor. FORTIFIED is a voluntary above-code construction standard that improves a building’s resistance to the effects of severe weather.
Yes. We provide free inspections with photo documentation and a written estimate for every customer. We promise that our assessment will be honest and the estimate will be fair every time.
We strive to send a technician within 24–48 hours. Active leaks and other emergencies get priority.

We will take care of everything from property protection, old shingle tear-off, installation, nail and material cleanup, and a final walkthrough. We always make sure that nothing is left behind.
